Keynote & Breakout Presenters

The information below will continue to be updated as presenters and breakout sessions are confirmed.

Keynote Presenters

S. Michael Wilcox

S. Michael Wilcox received his PhD from the University of Colorado and taught for many years at the LDS Institute of Religion adjacent to the University of Utah. He has spoken to packed crowds at BYU Education Week and has hosted tours to the Holy Land, to China, to Church history sites, and beyond. He has served in a variety of callings, including as bishop and counselor in a stake presidency. He has written many articles and books, including House of Glory, Sunset, 10 Great Souls I Want to Meet in Heaven, Twice Blessed, and Finding Hope. He and his late wife, Laurie, are the parents of five children.

J209

J209 is the nonprofit, Jesus vocal band from Utah. Anchored in the words of Jeremiah 20:9, their mission is simple: ignite the fire of faith in Christ in the rising generation. Wielding soulful arrangements of today’s biggest Christian hits, these 7 singers are ready—sharing music and faith like fire wherever God calls.

Each member of J209 has felt the love of Jesus Christ in their life and is passionate about sharing it with every open heart. While the world grows increasingly darker, they believe—with the help of God—music can make a difference. Having left school, work, and many other professional pursuits, J209 came together with the hope of inspiring a community of followers who will join them in reigniting faith like fire wherever they may be.
