Janine Simons

Janine is a mother of four children, one of whom is transgender, and has four grandchildren. She is deeply motivated by two guiding principles: to love all her children, and to stay on the covenant path. She served in the Switzerland Geneva mission and was involved with education as a junior high French teacher/substitute teacher for 15 years. Since her retirement, she has become a full-time writer and is the author of two books, He Marked the Path: Following the Savior on the Pathway to Peace, and Stones to Shine in Darkness: Seeking the Light of Christ in Our Lives. She is active on social media, posting regular content for members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through her website, www.ironrodpress.com and her author pages and Facebook group, “Hold Fast to the Iron Rod.”
