Michael Goodman

Michael joined the church as a young adult in Southern California. He served two missions to Bangkok Thailand as a missionary and as a mission president. He has served as a Bishop and on several general church committees for the Church including the Church’s Correlation Review Committee. He has a PhD in Marriage Family and Human Development and is an associate professor of Church History and Doctrine at BYU. He is a social science researcher who publishes regularly on LGBTQ well-being in scholarly and non-scholarly venues. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for North Star.
