Session Description:
The lens we view our life through shapes how we interpret the world and the meaning we attach to situations, relationships, and outcomes. If our sense of emotional worth comes primarily from a relationship like your marriage or the relationship of a child or parent, we become vulnerable to the moods and feelings or the behaviors and treatment by this person. This is the very essence of strong emotional dependency. When we find ourselves wanting to change someone else we have to first change ourselves, change our perceptions. We ourselves have to first work from the inside out. Thankfully we have the help of a loving Father in Heaven, the experiences of this loving community, and the fruits of the Spirit; love, kindness, compassion and truth to guide us along the way.
