Becky Borden
Becky is a senior product manager with the Church in the Priesthood and Family Department. Among other assignments, her work with the Church specifically focuses on LGBTQ resources. Becky has an MBA in IT Management and spent many years in the high-tech sector before joining Church employment. She is a former VP and emeritus board member with North Star. Becky and her husband, Bennett, speak at stake and ward firesides across the US, sharing their stories and their experience with the atonement of Jesus Christ in an effort to foster greater love, inclusion and understanding of LGBTQ+ individuals. Becky came out in her early 20’s and lived with same-sex partners for 20 years before returning to the Church and being re-baptized in 2013.
Becky Borden lives in Heber City, Utah, on Beckett Farm. She was married in 2013 and sealed in the Washington DC Temple in 2014. Becky loves sharing the things she’s learned and her testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ to foster love, inclusion, and respect for all God’s children.
