Session Description:
Latter-day Saint sexual minorities face difficult decisions about how to integrate their sexuality and faith. For those who are striving to navigate these paths within the framework of adherence to Church doctrinal teachings, some will pursue heterosexual relationships and some seek to lead fulfilling lives as single individuals. Our aim in this session is to share insights from research about what helps Latter-day Saints to thrive in either of these life paths. As licensed therapists, we also share insights from working with clients who are single or in heterosexual relationships about skills that help them live authentic and meaningful lives.
